The Team

Jon A. Almagro Aranguren

Applied Physics

Hey, I am Jon, a third year Applied Physics bachelors student. I believe that the mission of Team InCharge resonates with the future of the automobile industry by making this more sustainable and less reliant on fossil fuels. I am grateful to be part of this mission and to develop new solutions with the other team members.

Mikey Gustavsson

Mechanical Engineering

I have the role to tackle the mechanical aspects of this electrical challenge. To me, DWC is a promising technology with lots of room for innovative solutions and I am looking forwards to making my contribution to what I believe may lead to something much bigger. I can’t deny I’m out of my field, but it is just that that makes it all the more interesting!

Roles
  • Secretary
  • Technical Officer

Karim Mahmoud

Electrical Engineering

Hello! I’m Karim, a first year Master of EE and a proud member of Team InCharge for 1 year now as the main circuit designer. As a Bachelor of EE, I knew I eventually needed to choose a field of specialization. Understanding this and even though it might not be my chosen field of specialization, I chose to join team InCharge to try my hand in the field of DWC and broaden my knowledge on the topic, not forgetting the chance to meet and interact with the bright minds already in team InCharge. When it comes to having fun, I love to have a kick about with friends in the park and when time allows for it, travel around and see new places.

Roles
  • Technical Manager
  • Power electronics designer

Lorenzo Cammarota

Industrial Engineering

Hi there! I am Lorenzo, a third year BSc Industrial Engineering student. In my study, I focus on supply chain and warehouse management, transport and distribution. My role in the team is to develop the business case for our technology, to present its financial and environmental benefits to our external partners and stakeholders, in addition to being the treasurer. DWC can dramatically impact the efficiency of the logistics and transport sectors and I am excited to be a part of this change!

  • Impact Case Manager

Carolina Billep Garay

Design

Hello, my name is Carolina, I am a third-year student studying design. I am part of the business team at Incharge. My role within the team focuses on making advertisements and merchandise for different events. I joined the team because I wanted to be able to help with distributing the word and getting our team to be seen by different companies to aid us in the development of DWC and the future of warehouses. I am grateful to be working with Incharge, and being able to learn from a lot of different people, and seeing the process of what it takes to be part of a research team.

Maria Virginia Ciabattoni

Industrial Engineering

Hello! I’m Maria Virginia, a third-year BSc Industrial engineering student. My study focuses mainly on operation management, linear programming, maximization of profits, and minimization of costs. My role in the business team is to help develop the financial analysis to show the benefits of using our technology. DWC has excellent potential to disrupt warehouse management and logistics and I want to be part of it.

Eduardo Gomez Hernandez

Mechatronics

Hello there, my name is Eduardo and I am a third year student of Mechatronics, and a member of the technical team. I believe that I think that the DWC technology could be a great revolution in the automotive industry if enough research is implemented. Moreover, it could improve production in warehouses and represent a step forward in the electrical charging industry.

Roles
  • Technical Officer

Gregory Melville

Mechanical Engineering

Hi, I am Gregory, I come from South Africa and am currently a third year Mechanical Engineering student. I have worked on projects to do with mobility and sustainability in the past, hence my interest in team InCharge. Team InCharge combines both of these fields in such a way that I believe when completed, it could make a positive effect on the future and environment.

Roles
  • Technical Officer

Tudor-Andrei Pioara

Electrical Engineering

Hello! I’m Tudor, currently a 2nd year Automotive student and my role in the team is to both help with mechanical difficulties, as well as to focus on the more “artistic” side of a team – think of designing posters, flyers etc. Personally, I believe this technology has a future, especially in the warehousing market, so I want to do my part in shaping the technology of tomorrow.
